Who should buy toilet paper in a shared apartment?

Guilty

The short answer

Shared basics are bought in turns, and whoever uses the last roll replaces it. Three last rolls in a row is a pattern, not bad luck.

The ruling

From the public record. Names are replaced with roles.

Just for fun. Written by a computer judge. Not a real court, not legal advice, no legal effect.

How the court usually rules on this

The court treats toilet paper, dish soap and trash bags as household supplies that everyone pays for. Without a written rotation, the person who finishes the last one buys the next pack. A roommate who keeps finishing it without buying more is usually found guilty. A shared note on the fridge or a split-the-cost app is the standard sentence.
